Clay soil is a type of soil that can be used to mould different type of object.
Clay soil are sticky and can absorb many water. They can be used to mould different object like cup, pot, plate e.t.c . They are also used in building houses known as hut.
Evaluation: The Teacher ask the Pupils to:

Content: Clay soil contain some properties, namely;
1. They are sticky
2. They absorb many water.
3. They are hard and smooth
Evaluation: teacher asked pupil to:
1. Mention properties of clay soil.

Topic: Experiment to show that clay retain water.
Behavioural objectives: At the end of the lesson pupils should be able to:
1. Record their observation.
2. Describe their finding.
Instructional material/Reference material: clay, water, cylinder, funnel and cotton wool.

1. The properties of soil.
Content: Experiment process:
1. Get a soil sample.
2. Pour the soil sample into the bowl.
3. Add water into the soil sample.
4. Mix the soil sample together with the water.
5. Observe the soil.
